401 Heavy Duty Truck Parts Inc. Joins VIPAR Heavy Duty Network
VIPAR Heavy Duty is pleased to announce that 401 Heavy Duty Truck Parts Inc., headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, has joined the VIPAR Heavy Duty network of independent distributors, adding five locations to the organization’s network in Canada.
Founded in 2017, 401 Heavy Duty Truck Parts Inc. is a full-line heavy duty aftermarket distributor serving customers throughout the Toronto Area. It was started by Abdul Mian and David Langley with a vision to deliver a strong customer-focused approach to truck and trailer parts distribution.
“We set out to build a business centered around accessibility and customer support with things like extended hours (all stores are open 7 days a week, 364 days a year) and hiring former truck mechanics to work on our counters. Most importantly, we listened to our customers and our valued vendors to ensure that we have the parts that they need when they need them,” said Langley.
401 Heavy Duty Truck Parts Inc. is led by Mian, Owner, their CFO Sofia Mian, their Vice President Umayr Mian, and Langley, Director of Sales and Marketing, who is a veteran of the heavy duty aftermarket with more than 30 years of industry experience. The organization employs approximately 40 team members and operates a fleet of delivery vehicles to support regional customers.
The company has grown from a single location into a multi-branch operation with facilities in Mississauga, Cambridge, London, Bolton, and Brampton, Ontario, supporting fleets, diesel and trailer repair shops, and government accounts across Canada’s largest trucking market.
At its headquarters in Mississauga, 401 Heavy Duty Truck Parts Inc. operates alongside ASA Truck Repairs (also owned by Mian) at the same facility. This integrated model allows drivers and fleets to source parts and complete repairs or preventative maintenance efficiently at a single location.
The company offers a comprehensive inventory with over 9,000 different parts in stock, including air and brake products, filters, cooling, lubricants, truck lighting, accessories, and specialized products such as wiring harnesses, NOx sensors, and DEF filters. Complementing its in-store inventory, 401 Heavy Duty Truck Parts Inc. provides delivery services for larger parts orders and maintains an experienced team of parts professionals to support customers. All locations offer flywheel resurfacing or exchange.
“With their presence in the Toronto market and commitment to customer service, 401 Heavy Duty Truck Parts Inc. is a good addition to the VIPAR Heavy Duty network,” said Joe Meyer, VIPAR Heavy Duty Vice President of Business Development. “Their integrated parts and service approach and continued investment in growth align well with our focus on supporting independent distributors and their customers in Canada.”
“As a company with an aggressive growth plan, the next logical step for us was to join a buying group. After looking at all of the available options, VIPAR Heavy Duty stood above all others with their vast supplier network and the support that they offered to their independent distributors. We are looking forward to building our business through them and their valued supplier partners,” said Langley.
VIPAR Heavy Duty Awards Strategic Partner Designation to Truck-Lite and ECCO
VIPAR Heavy Duty has recognized Truck-Lite and ECCO as its latest suppliers to earn the VIPAR Heavy Duty Strategic Partner (VSP) designation. The two companies, both part of Clarience Technologies, join an elite group of suppliers that demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting the organization’s distributors, fleets, and strategic initiatives across the heavy-duty aftermarket.
“Truck-Lite and ECCO bring exceptional value to our distributor network through their commitment to innovation, safety, and service,” said Larry Griffin, VIPAR Heavy Duty Vice President of Program Management. “Their strong support of fleets, investment in data quality, and product offerings that extend across key international markets align closely with our strategic priorities. We are pleased to welcome them as Strategic Partners.”
Truck-Lite and ECCO earned the designation by meeting key criteria established by VIPAR Heavy Duty, including active support of fleets through the organization’s National Accounts Program, meaningful contribution of product content to PARTSPHERE PIM®, VIPAR Heavy Duty’s Product Information Management system, and delivering comprehensive product programs that serve both VIPAR Heavy Duty and Power Heavy Duty distributors.
“We are honored that Truck-Lite and ECCO have been recognized as VIPAR Heavy Duty Strategic Partners,” said Brian Olsen, EVP and President, Visibility Solutions, Clarience Technologies. “This designation reflects our shared commitment to supporting distributors and fleets with innovative, high-quality solutions. We value our partnership and look forward to continued collaboration to deliver value across the heavy-duty aftermarket.”
Suppliers that earn the VSP designation benefit from enhanced visibility and engagement opportunities, including special recognition and priority positioning at the IMPACT Conference, expanded branding across distributor touchpoints, and increased networking and collaboration with the VIPAR Heavy Duty Family of Companies team and distributor members.
Truck-Lite and ECCO join the VSP group alongside Baldwin Filters, Donaldson Company, East Penn, Grote, Prestone, Tectran, and Tramec.

Diesel USA Group Brings Turbocharger Expertise to the VIPAR Heavy Duty Distributor Network
Diesel USA Group Inc., a long established leader in diesel engine products and services, has joined VIPAR Heavy Duty, bringing seven additional U.S. locations to the network.
Diesel USA Group provides a comprehensive portfolio of diesel engine products, including turbochargers, fuel systems, exhaust and emission components, electrical parts, filtration products, and charged air products. The company also offers high value technical services, such as machining, diagnostics, DPF cleaning, component repair, remanufacturing, and full service parts distribution.
Founded in 1950 by World War II veteran Lloyd A. Bailey, Diesel USA Group began as Diesel Injection Service Company in Louisville, Kentucky. Bailey’s technical expertise and early involvement in the post war diesel service industry — including his participation in the first meeting of the Association of Diesel Specialists (ADS) in 1956 — helped shape the company’s trajectory and the industry at large.
In 2019, Diesel USA Group was acquired by JASPER Holdings, Inc., parent company of Jasper Engines & Transmissions. The company continues to operate as an independent brand within JASPER’s ESOP structure while retaining the leadership team that has guided its long term growth.
Jerry Mabis, Corporate Liaison at JASPER Holdings Inc., explained that Diesel USA joined VIPAR Heavy Duty to leverage its long‑standing position as a central distributor of fuel‑injection, turbocharger, and engine‑related fuel‑system component product lines.
"In evaluating the opportunity, we recognized the value‑added benefits of aligning with VIPAR Heavy Duty’s established network and expanding access to complementary product lines. As we looked at our existing relationships with leading suppliers within the VIPAR Heavy Duty family, it became clear that joining as a stockholder would deliver significant mutual benefit," said Mabis.
Diesel USA Group serves a diverse customer base across industries that rely on gas and diesel engine systems. Its market reach extends nationwide through locations in Louisville, Ky.; Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio; Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Crown Point, Ind.; and Fontana, Calif. These facilities enable the company to deliver fast, reliable products and technical expertise to commercial fleets, consumer diesel drivers, and equipment owners demanding trusted performance and support.
“Diesel USA Group’s decades long commitment to technical excellence, deep industry expertise, and strategically located facilities significantly strengthen our network’s ability to support customers nationwide. By adding their proven capabilities in diesel engine products, diagnostics, and remanufacturing, we are expanding both the depth and reach of the solutions we can offer to end-users,” said Joe Meyer, Vice President of Business Development for VIPAR Heavy Duty.
