VIPAR Heavy Duty Continues Charitable Giving Throughout 2019

VIPAR Heavy Duty continued its charitable giving tradition in 2019. Recently, VIPAR Heavy Duty staff fulfilled the holiday wish lists of more than 30 children through a partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Rockford, IL. VIPAR Heavy Duty also donated to support a holiday party for the children in the program.

In October, VIPAR Heavy Duty’s IMPACT Memorial Golf Tournament, held during its 2019 IMPACT Conference, raised money to help support the Wyakin Foundation. Several VIPAR Heavy Duty suppliers also established a relationship with the foundation, donating a portion of their conference order proceeds. Collectively the VIPAR Heavy Duty network donated more than $73,000 to the Wyakin Foundation through efforts at the 2019 IMPACT Conference. The Wyakin Foundation provides support for military veterans who are transitioning from the battlefield to the civilian workforce.

“Far too many of our veterans experience overwhelming challenges upon returning home, and our valued partnership with VIPAR Heavy Duty is helping us reverse that trend,” said Brent Taylor, president and CEO, Wyakin Foundation. “Through their support at the IMPACT Conference, VIPAR Heavy Duty and its distributors, suppliers and aftermarket industry associates answered the call to serve those who have sacrificed for our freedom. The kindness and generosity of this industry continues to power meaningful change for veterans through the work of the Wyakin Foundation.

"The Wyakin Foundation and the charities VIPAR Heavy Duty has supported this year make a strong, positive impact on the lives of others,” said Chris Baer, president and CEO, VIPAR Heavy Duty. “We appreciate our staff, distributors, suppliers and industry associates who donate their time and resources to help members of our industry and those in need in our local communities.”

VIPAR Heavy Duty also supported the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and its local Crystal Lake community throughout the year.
